Instructions
  1. Break your Kit Kat bars into sets of two sticks, and using a little decorator’s icing to secure them, line them up all around the outside of your store bought cake.

  2. Secure the Kit Kat ‘basket’ with a ribbon…and tie a nice big bow.

  3. Top the cake with a mound of chocolate eggs.

  4. Twist your armature wire to form a handle and press either end into the cake, just between the chocolate basket and the actual cake.

  5. Kit Kat bars are great to work with, as you can break them into the exact size you need. If you’ve made your way around the cake, and you’re left with a little gap that won’t fit two sticks, just break off one and fill it with that!

Recipe Notes

Remember, if you see something you want, but don’t really want to spend on it, chances are there’s a DIY solution just like this one.

Instructions
  1. Set the oven to broil and line a baking dish with parchment paper brushed with oil.

  2. Cut the eggplant into 1/4” slices lengthwise until you have eight eggplant shaped slices. Repeat with the zucchini. Brush both sides of each slice with olive oil and season with salt.

  3. Lay the eggplant and zucchini slices on the baking sheet and broil until golden brown, about 8 minutes. Remove from oven and flip the slices using tongs.

  4. Divide the cheeses among the eggplant slices, placing the mozzarella on the largest part of the eggplant and sprinkling the parmesan over the entire slice. Broil until cheese is bubbly and slices are golden brown. Remove from oven and let cool enough to handle.

  5. Toss the basil, parsley, and spinach with 2 tablespoons of olive oil and a pinch of salt and pepper.

  6. Layer the zucchini on top of the eggplant and top with divided roasted red pepper slices, placing the slices on top of the widest side of the eggplant (where the mozzarella was placed), top with the divided spinach mixture and roll the eggplant slices, starting at the thickest end.

Instructions
  1. In a large saucepan, melt the butter. Once melted, add the flour and cook for about 2 minutes (this is called a roux). Slowly whisk in the milk and chicken broth. When the milk begins to steam, whisk in the cream cheese until smooth.

  2. 2. Turn off the heat and add the cheddar, stirring until melted and smooth. Pour the sauce over the pasta and stir until thoroughly mixed. Add salt and pepper to taste.

  3. 3. Put the macaroni into small, individual fry pans or ramekins. Top each ramekin with the yellow and white grated cheeses, alternating each to create a striped ‘zebra’ pattern. Place the ramekins under a broiler or in a warm oven until the cheese is just melted. (Don’t let it sit too long, or the cheese will run together).

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Remove the dinner rolls from the package and separate each one. On a lightly floured surface, using the palm of your hand, flatten the dinner roll into a round disc, about 3”-4” wide.

  3. Divide the cheese and ham among each dinner roll, mounding it in the center of the disc. Then, to close your dinner roll into a tasty pouch, gather the edges of the disc up around the mound of ham and cheese and pinch closed, covering all of the ham and cheese. Repeat with the remaining rolls

  4. Place each roll, seal side down, on your baking sheet and brush with your egg wash.

  5. Bake the rolls for 15-20 minutes until the tops are golden brown.
