Stacked Salad Wedge
INGREDIENTS
- 4 slices of bacon
- 1 head iceberg lettuce
- 1 apple, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup dried cranberries
DRESSING
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup mayo
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
- 1 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- Salt and pepper to taste
GET COOKIN'
- Place the bacon in a cold pan and set over medium heat. Brown the bacon, allow it to cool and then chop it.
- Quarter the lettuce. For each wedge, separate a couple of the leaves and layer in apple slices, cranberries, and bacon.
- Combine all dressing ingredients and mix well.
- Reassemble the wedge of lettuce and top with dressing.
