Stacked Salad Wedge

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 slices of bacon
  • 1 head iceberg lettuce
  • 1 apple, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries

DRESSING

  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayo
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 1 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste

GET COOKIN'

  1. Place the bacon in a cold pan and set over medium heat. Brown the bacon, allow it to cool and then chop it.
  2. Quarter the lettuce. For each wedge, separate a couple of the leaves and layer in apple slices, cranberries, and bacon.
  3. Combine all dressing ingredients and mix well.
  4. Reassemble the wedge of lettuce and top with dressing.
