Cookie Bar

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 sticks butter
  • 3 cups brown sugar
  • 6 eggs

TOPPINGS

  • Flaked coconut
  • Chocolate, peanut butter and butterscotch chips
  • Chopped nuts

GET COOKIN'

  1. Preheat oven to 350º F.
  2. Combine flour, rolled oats, and salt in a bowl. Set aside.
  3. Using a mixer set on low speed, cream butter and sugar together. Add eggs, one at a time, combining well after each addition.
  4. Carefully add flour mixture and continue mixing until dough forms.
  5. Spread the cookie dough on a baking pan lined with parchment paper.
  6. Sprinkle with your choice of toppings (see below). Bake in oven for 20-25 minutes. Cool and cut into bars.
