Cookie Bar
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 sticks butter
- 3 cups brown sugar
- 6 eggs
TOPPINGS
- Flaked coconut
- Chocolate, peanut butter and butterscotch chips
- Chopped nuts
GET COOKIN'
- Preheat oven to 350º F.
- Combine flour, rolled oats, and salt in a bowl. Set aside.
- Using a mixer set on low speed, cream butter and sugar together. Add eggs, one at a time, combining well after each addition.
- Carefully add flour mixture and continue mixing until dough forms.
- Spread the cookie dough on a baking pan lined with parchment paper.
- Sprinkle with your choice of toppings (see below). Bake in oven for 20-25 minutes. Cool and cut into bars.
