Roasted & Spiced Mixed Nuts
SERVES 8
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup almonds
- 1 cup peanuts
- 1 cup cashews
- 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
- 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cayenne
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
GET COOKIN'
- Preheat oven to 300º F.
- Combine all nuts and seeds in a large bowl. Toss with the olive oil and melted butter, salt, cayenne and garlic powder.
- Spread the seasoned mixture on a cookie sheet and roast for 20 –25 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Remove from oven. Let cool on a rack and serve.
