Herb Flatbread
SERVES 6-8
INGREDIENTS
- 1 pound frozen pizza dough
- Flour, for dusting
- 8 basil leaves
- 1 egg white
- 1 tablespoons olive oil
GET COOKIN'
- Divide dough into 8 balls and roll each to about ½ inch thick. With a pastry brush, brush some egg white onto the center of each flatbread and “paste” on a basil leaf.
- Heat a ridged griddle or skillet over medium high heat and add olive oil.
- Place flatbread, basil side down, on griddle and let cook until browned, about 2 minutes. Flip and repeat. Add more olive oil, if needed.
- Let cool on wire racks.
