Herb Flatbread

SERVES 6-8

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pound frozen pizza dough
  • Flour, for dusting
  • 8 basil leaves
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tablespoons olive oil

GET COOKIN'

  1. Divide dough into 8 balls and roll each to about ½ inch thick. With a pastry brush, brush some egg white onto the center of each flatbread and “paste” on a basil leaf.
  2. Heat a ridged griddle or skillet over medium high heat and add olive oil.
  3. Place flatbread, basil side down, on griddle and let cook until browned, about 2 minutes. Flip and repeat. Add more olive oil, if needed.
  4. Let cool on wire racks.
