Simple Homemade Popsicles

Now that it’s June, it’s officially OK to eat frozen treats every night…right? Although the ice cream truck makes frequent trips around my neighborhood, my kids and I are big fans of making homemade popsicles. There are so many fun popsicle molds out there these days. You can get a regular rectangular mold or try some fun shapes, like gems and rockets!

Pour in juice of any kind and freeze overnight for a homemade snack that’s inexpensive and easy. My two-year-old Meredith keeps tugging at my hems, asking for “ice pop, ice pop,” and I understand why!

If you’re feeling adventurous, test out some of these delicious recipes for popsicles that have a little something special in them.

    Hi Katie,
We were watching your show on tv and you were making some special lemonades and frozen pops with puddings. Behind you on the wall, was a big poster or background that had a quote on it that we could only see the last few words of, which were “is in pain”. We got curious as to what the rest of the quote was and couldn’t find anything about it on the internet. I know this is a crazy request but could you help us satisfy our curiosity?
    Thanks,
    Sue

Sue, You read my mind! I’ve noticed ‘is in pain’ in several segments that must have been taped on the same day. It looks to me to be written on a blackboard. Who? Who is in pain? We must know Katie!

I’ve wondered the same thing. What is the entire quote? The camera never zooms out enough to read it. All we can read is “is in pain.”
