Nutty Caramel Apples

INGREDIENTS

• 1 14-ounce bag caramels, unwrapped
• 8 small apples
• 1 cup mixed salted nuts, finely chopped

SPECIAL EQUIPMENT

• Popsicle sticks, cut down to 5 inch lengths

GET COOKIN'

1. Place caramels in a saucepan and melt over low heat
2. Insert popsicle stick in apples and dip in caramel. Allow excess to drip.
3. Roll caramel covered apple in nuts.
4. Place on wax paper lined cookie sheets to set.
5. Refrigerate or serve when cool.
