Food Basket Project

The back-to-school buzz has begun, but that doesn’t mean we should wish away the last weeks of summer vacation. We’re throwing a barbecue at my house this weekend to celebrate the friends we’ve made, played and shared with this summer. With kids in the mix, casual grilling fare will be on the menu, with recipes like the Beer-Simmered Brats, Cheese-Stuffed Turkey Burgers and Molasses and Brown Sugar Baked Beans. Of course, there’s only one place to have it…outside, where our summer lives took place!

To make the meal portable, I’ll be serving them in these fun Food Baskets with stamped brown paper bags. This project is super quick and a welcome addition to an outdoor party.

    Hello!

Love this idea! Would you mind sharing where you found your baskets? I’ve looked for a few hours, and no luck.

    Thanks!

      Hi Debbie,

You can find wicker baskets at craft stores or any home decor stores. Try thrift stores as well for a less expensive option. I love thrifting.

I would love to see pictures when you make the baskets.

      Thanks,
