Design that Moves
Shhh! We’ve got a little secret to share with you that will bring out the design guru inside of you all! Ready?
Everyone, meet The Caster. Yes, this thing!
Have you ever looked around your living room and felt that antsy, “I gotta change something” feeling? Or bolted upright in the middle of the night with the realization that your desk would look fabulous in the opposite corner from where it is now? Figuring out how all the pieces and parts of a room fit together is a process that evolves over time. Even when you think you’ve nailed it, there are always moments when you just gotta rearrange.
Hence, the handy caster: Add height and mobility to desks, counters, kitchen islands, small coffee tables, large dining tables, and even beds by screwing in casters to the legs and bottoms of furniture pieces that would benefit from a little movement. Don’t want your kitchen table or child’s bed sliding across the room? Look for casters that have a lock.
When you can move the heavy furniture pieces around easily, you can let your imaginations go crazy with layout. Design that can turn on a dime!

Adding casters can be helpful for a myriad of reasons–my grandma did it to help her stay independent before she finally had to go to a nursing home. She loved being able to move the furniture around when cleaning without asking for help.
