Nutty Caramel Ladysmith Apples
16 ladysmith apples
1 bag caramels, unwrapped
1 cup mixed salted nuts, finely chopped
special equipment: wooden skewers, cut down to 5 inch lengths
- Place caramels in a saucepan and melt over low heat.
- Dip apples in and roll in nuts.
- Place on wax paper lined cookie sheets to set.
- Refrigerate or serve when cool.
