Just a Spoonful of Easter

The countdown has begun. Time to embrace all things Easter. To begin our Easter week at The Workshop we want to discuss subtly, the art of the understated, the low key.

When dolling up your house for the biggest of Spring Holidays we say take it easy. Just a dash here and there will be enough to set the mood for this pastel party. Hit the door with your holiday decor. Perhaps a bit of Easter in an entry hall or a bowl of something springy on your kitchen counter. Top a few bedroom dressers with an expression of the season.

We here at the Workshop are trying to control our instinct to create something that could be interpreted as bunnies gone wild. Join us and Keep it Simple this time around so that you too have the time to smell the sweetness that the good earth is bringing to you daily.

Enjoy your pre-holiday time and employ some of the quiet but beautiful projects we have collected to inspire the lightest of touch.

I really miss your TV show. I live just outside of Portland Oregon. I can’t find it at all. Please let me know when you will be back on a channel in my area. You were on the OPB station.

Our fruit trees needed a lot of serious pruning this spring. I felt so bad for the limbs being cut down then I had the idea of bringing in one big section and hanging Easter eggs off from it. It has started to bloom and it looks just wonderful and springy despite the change in temps outside.
