Simple Super Bowl Serving Tray

The Workshop is getting you ready for your Super Bowl 2011 party! We all look forward to the finger foods, chips, dips, burgers and wings that make the football-watching experience that much better. Now you can make your yummy snacks portable (pass it around!) with this fun Super Bowl Serving Tray. It’s the perfect complement to the Cork Team Coasters. Game day just got craftier…

What you’ll need…

White serving tray
Astroturf
Large vinyl numbers
2-3″ white duct tape
Fabric measuring tape
T-square (or anything with a right angle)
Scissors
Get Started…
1.  Using the fabric measuring tape, measure the inside of the tray.
2.  On the back of the Astroturf, draw out the tray (using the dimensions you recorded in Step 1). Cut Astroturf to size and place inside tray.
3.  Attach numbers to Astroturf, leaving room on both sides for the tape “yard line.” Attach tape in a straight line, as if it were a yard line. Wrap the the tape ends around the Astroturf.
