Simple Rainbow Cake

Today is my wonderful husband’s birthday, so I’m dashing off to do something I’ve always wanted to attempt…make a rainbow cake! I like this recipe (via Omnomicon) because you can combine all the layers of colors together, instead of baking separate cake rounds. Looks like I’m going to have to go overboard with the food coloring…wish me luck!
