DIRECTIONS
Find a blanket that you will embellish. Use an old one or buy a new one.
Draw a simple flower pattern onto card stock and cut out.
Using the flower pattern and a sharpie marker, trace the pattern onto the felt. Each flower that you will make requires three separate felt flower pieces.
Place a small dab of hot glue on the tips of the petals and pinch the felt to give the flowers a three-dimensional look, do this to two of the felt pieces, and leave the third one flat.
Stack three flowers on top of each other with the flat one on the bottom. Fold the bundle in half and hand-sew a few stitches towards the base of the fold, then sew a button onto the center of your flower. Find a button to sew on as the center of the flower.
Using a few hand stitches, attach the flowers to the blanket and repeat until you have the look you like.
