Tire Garden
MATERIALS
- Old Tires
- Latex paint
- Gravel
- Potting soil
- Cabbage or vegetable of your choice
- Shovel
- Paint brush
DIRECTIONS
Select a few old car tires.
Using a latex paint of your choice, paint the tires.
Once all of the tires are painted and dry, stack them on top of each other.
Now it is time to fill the tires about half way with gravel.
Fill the rest of the tires with potting soil.
Once the tires are filled, dig a small hole to plant your vegetable. If you are planting more than one vegetable in your tire garden, make sure you leave enough space for the veggies to grow!
Put the vegetable plant in the hole you dug.
Pack planting soil around to secure your plant in the soil.
Water!
Sit back, relax, and wait for your veggies to grow in your new tire garden!
