Boxed Garden

MATERIALS

• Chinese newspaper
• 3 boxes, various sizes
• Green moss
• Polyurethane
• Packing peanuts or newspaper
• Paintbrush
• Scissors

DIRECTIONS

1. Cut sections of the Chinese newspaper and tape it to the surface of your boxes.

2. Create a border around the top edge of the boxes with larger type from the newspapers’ headlines.

3. Coat the paper with a high-gloss polyurethane.

4. Fill the box approximately one inch from the top with either newspaper or packing peanuts and cover the surface with green moss.
