Flower Language Menus

MATERIALS

• Floral wire
• Floral tape
• Wrapped raffia
• Green ribbon
• Printed menu
• Clear bottles or vases
• Small dowels
• Hot glue gun

DIRECTIONS

1. Unwrap raffia so that it is untwisted. These will be the "petals" of the flower.

2. Hot glue length of floral wire down the middle of the raffia.

3. Cut out a printed section of the menu in the shape of a flattened football. Hot glue the menu to the inside of the raffia over the floral wire. Pinch ends.

4. Do this until all of your menus are glued to a piece of raffia or all of the "petals" are made.

5. Gather floral wire at the bottom of the raffia pieces together. Twist one wire around all of the wires to form a stem. Wrap in floral tape.

6. Repeat with green ribbon to form leaves of the flower. Attach to stem and bend wire of stem, leaves, and petals to shape and style.

7. Arrange flower menu in vase or tall clear bottle. Add little flowers if you want more fillers.
