Scarf, Glove and Hat Set
MATERIALS
- Knit scarf, hat and glove set
- Ribbon, 2 widths
- Rhinestone buckle
- Scissors
- Wide-eyed needle
DIRECTIONS
A simple thing to do to dress up a gift of knit hats, scarves and gloves is to just weave in a little ribbon. Weave the ribbon in and out around the wrist of the glove and tie a bow.
For the scarf, fold a piece of ribbon in half and thread through your needle. Insert needle about an inch up from the bottom of your scarf, pull through the loop to create at tassel. Repeat 6-8 times.
I chose to use a wider ribbon for the hat. Simply, weave through and attach rhinestone buckle at the joint. Remember not to weave it too tight because the best part about knit hats is that they fit virtually anyone! Just tie the ribbon behind the buckle and there you have it.
