A Hangover Cure recipe part 2 of 4
Sports drinks, such as Gatorade and Powerade, replace essential minerals, salts and fluids that are lost when the body becomes dehydrated. They also work beautifully when the body is hungover.
These electrolyte ice cubes are great to have on hand, and ensure that you’re well-armed when an unexpected night out results in a less-than-comfortable morning.
The addition of a little vitamin C does the body good, too!

Ingredients
- 12 ounces Your favorite sports drink such as Gatorade or Powerade
- 1 Orange
- 1 Ice cube tray

Instructions
- Fill an ice cube tray with your preferred electrolyte-enriched sports drink.
- Slice an orange thinly, and cut each slice into quarters.
- Lay a piece of orange into each compartment of the tray so that it floats on top, and freeze the tray.
- Pop ice cubes into a tall glass of water or coconut water, as needed.
