Fruit People
These are a few of our favorite ideas, but feel free to improvise.
MATERIALS
- Limes
- Lemons
- Oranges
- Kiwi
- Sticks
- Twizzlers
- Peppermints
- Toothpicks
- Marshmallows
- Chocolate chips
- Candy buttons
- Glue
- Any other foods that strike your fancy
DIRECTIONS
For the duck: stack two lemons on top of each other. Make a hat by cutting a marshmallow in half and attach it to the “head” by inserting a toothpick. Glue chocolate chips onto her face for eyes and wrap a red fruit chew around the neck as a scarf.
For the snowman: attach 3 oranges by stacking one of top of the other and hold them together with toothpicks. Use multicolored candy canes for arms, a cookie for a hat, and candy sugar dots for buttons.
For the deer: for your deer’s antlers, stick 2 thin sticks on the top of your kiwi. Glue a marshmallow to the back of the kiwi as the tail.
