- Gift boxes
- 2 colors of solid craft paper
- Double stick tape
- Gold adhesive numbers
- Hole punch
- Gold ribbon

DIRECTIONS
Cut a piece of craft paper to fit on the top of your box. I like pinking sheers because they create a simple, decorative edge. Cut another piece the same size in a different color that will go on the inside of your box.
Adhere the first square to the top of the box with double stick tape.
Place a sticker number on top of the colored square, one for each day of the month.
Punch two holes on the top of the box for ribbon. Make sure you place holes near the center so that box does not tip forward. You can get these great hole punches that have a deeper slot so you can get your holes far back on your box.
Cut a length of ribbon, weave it through the holes and knot.
Write a word that speaks to the holiday season on the 2nd square of paper and double stick tape it to the inside back of the box.
Put your Christmas ornament in the box and hang along garland on mantle or around door. It’s best to use unbreakable ornaments just in case a box top comes loose.
