- 4 artificial flowers
- Googly eyes
- Paint markers/sharpies
- 4 pieces of balsam wood 12 inch square
- Number stickers
- Artificial leaves
- Hot glue gun
Attach the boards together by hot gluing the ribbon on the back of the boards. Leave about one inch between the boards.
Place the measurements on the boards. Make sure you decide how high off the floor you will hang the chart.
I like to start measuring from the top at 5 feet and then down to 2 feet.
Place feet marks with a pencil. Apply stickers.
Glue artificial flowers to the center of each piece of wood.
Cut a variety of sizes of circles and ovals out of household sponges.
Dip the sponge into the paint and press onto your boards. Repeat the stamp to make the full length of the bug.
Glue googly eyes to the head of each bug.
With a brown marker, draw simple little lines for the bug’s feet and antennas.
