Romantic advice that worked!

A friend of mine came to me a couple of weeks ago with a classic dilemma: he had a huge crush on a beautiful woman, and he wasn’t quite sure how to tell her.  He asked me if he should give her flowers.  Well, OF COURSE you should give her flowers, I said!  If I know one thing about romance, it’s that flowers never hurt.  BUT, I told him he shouldn’t just give her a bouquet- I borrowed a brilliant idea from my friend, floral artist Sarah Essex in LA, and suggested he give her a whole wheelbarrow full of flowers.  So he did.

Needless to say, it worked- they’ve been on more than a few dates already!
