- 6 6-ounce cuts of filet mignon
- Salt
- Coarsely ground black pepper
- 1/2 stick of butter
- 4 cloves crushed garlic
- 3 sprigs of thyme
- 3 sprigs rosemary
MUSHROOM TOPPING
- 3 cups quartered shitake mushrooms (stems removed)
- 3 cups quartered crimini mushrooms
- 2 tablespoons sherry vinegar
- 5 tablespoons of unsalted butter
- Salt
