How to make firework inspired napkins DIY
Did you know a little rubbing alcohol and some red and blue Sharpies could create fireworks on your cotton napkins? It’s as easy as draw and spray!

Instructions
- Wash and dry napkins. Press with an iron to remove wrinkles.
- Stretch napkin over mouth of plastic cup and secure in place with a rubber band.
- Draw a firework design on stretched portion of napkin with a red and/or blue permanent Sharpie marker.
- Fill a mini spray bottle with rubbing alcohol.
- Spray design with rubbing alcohol. The more alcohol the further the ink will spread, creating a larger design. Do not over saturate or design will appear “muddy”.
- Repeat, so that you have several “explosions” of fireworks across each napkin.
- Remove rubber bands and cups and hang dry.
- Iron and fold to accompany your 4th of July place setting.
