Tbsp olive oil

shallots
peeled and thinly sliced

pound
generousbrussel sprouts
trimmed and quartered

Tbsp butter
cubed, ½ stick
1
Tbsp salt
Zest and juice of 1 lemon
1
Tbsp parsley
chopped

Pinch
fresh ground pepper
Instructions
Begin to heat a sauté pan on medium-high heat.
Add in the olive oil, shallots, brussel sprouts, salt & pepper.
Sauté on medium-high heat until the sprouts are cooked and turn a brilliant green.
Take the brussel sprouts out of the pan and place on your serving platter.
Melt the butter in your pan.
Add in the lemon zest and parsley.
Heat this quickly and pour over the brussel sprouts.
Finish this dish by squeezing lemon juice over the top.
