Fall/Holiday 2010 Photo Shoot with Meijer

Michigan. To most, it’s just another ‘M’ state tossed somewhere in middle America. And I get it – on the surface it might not seem like the most exciting place, but to me it will always be home.  While I do love living on the east coast, I relish in any opportunity to go back and visit  ‘Pure Michigan’.  So you could image my excitement now that I’m back in Grand Rapids for our photo shoot with Meijer!

Look at this sunset on Lake Michigan. How could you not love this place?

On the way there, it seemed like the odds were against us; flight delays, last minute cancelations, and not to mention a depleting supply of Diet Coke. However, we prevailed and this trip has turned into a productive and exciting one! This week the wonderful team at Johnson Rauhoff photographed yours truly with all of the fall and Holiday 2010 Katie Brown Meijer products.  The sets were gorgeous and I got pampered and dolled up with the help of my fabulous wardrobe and make-up team. Who would have thought my career would turn me into a part-time model?

While I was a little disappointed that there was no voguing on set, I am super excited about the new products that await us in the upcoming Fall and Holiday season! Home furnishings! Christmas Stockings! (I mean… I know that it’s only the beginning of Spring – but I can’t wait for the holidays! Is that wrong?)

All of the new items are so fun and exciting that I found myself wanting to play with everything between shoots!
