1. Begin to fill the topiary with whole fruit, use a large variety of fruit to get different sizes and shapes, bananas make a great elephant trunk while half a pineapple could fill the bulk of the body.
2. Once your topiary is full with all different fruits, decorate the out side of the topiary with cut up fruit that your kids can pick off and eat. Sliced apples and kiwis and whole berries attach easily. Use your toothpicks to attach different fruits and berries to each other.
