Hints & Clues

General Apple Tree Tips

• Prune your apple tree so that it’s larger on the bottom and smaller on the top (like a Christmas tree). It allows for light to reach all parts of the tree.
• Make sure you have the proper tools to trim your apple tree: pruners, small saw, and loppers.
