Candy Apple mix (store-bought mix)
3-4 cups pumpkin seeds
Awl
Twigs, 4-5” in length
12 ounces chocolate morsels
1-2 tablespoons milk
Bamboo skewers
18 marshmallows
Orange Sprinkles
12 ounce of white chocolate morsels
Couple drops of orange food coloring
1 cup candy corn
1. Over medium-low heat melt the chocolate in a double boiler.
2. Pour of the melted chocolate onto lined baking sheet and drop in a couple drops of food coloring. Using a knife, swirl chocolate to create a pattern in the chocolate.
3. Drop candy corn on top of chocolate.
4. Place in the freezer until hardened. Then break into pieces.
1. Line a baking sheet with wax paper.
2. Over medium-low heat, melt the chocolate in a double boiler, stirring constantly and adding milk as necessary.
3. Skewer marshmallows and roll each in the chocolate. Allow to cool on prepared baking sheet then sprinkle with orange sprinkles.
1. Using candy thermometer, heat the candy apple mixture in a pot over medium-high heat until it reaches temperature indicated on box.
2. Using an awl, create a hole in the end of the apple to prepare for the twig handle. Insert twig as handle.
3. Dip apple into candy mix, then dip into pumpkin seeds to coat.
4. Place on wax paper that has been sprayed with non-stick spray and allow to cool.
